Dag Teferawork

Dag Teferawork joined Ray, Feighny & Hartle PLLC in 2026 as a Senior Associate, having dedicated over a decade to practicing law in the oil and gas sector. The bulk of his experience lies in leasehold title examination and the drafting of original, supplemental, and division order title opinions across the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford Shale, and East Texas regions. His combined background as both a licensed attorney and petroleum landman provides a practical, field-informed perspective that enhances the quality and efficiency of his title work.

Prior to joining RFH, Dag served as a partner at Teferawork & Ibrahim PLLC, a boutique Dallas-based law firm where he built a diverse practice spanning upstream oil and gas transactions, real estate and transactional matters, and estate planning. His time managing his own practice gave him insight into the full scope of client needs, from complex title issues to long-term legacy planning.

Dag earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University in 2013. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. Dag is licensed to practice law in Texas.
