Edward Lentz

Eddie’s oil and gas practice consists of representing upstream exploration and production companies in a wide variety of transactional matters pertaining to oil & gas development, including the acquisition and divestiture of oil & gas properties, title examination and due diligence. Eddie’s banking practice includes experience in representing banks, mortgage companies, and private lenders in a wide variety of matters including residential mortgage document preparation, commercial loan document preparation, compliance, regulatory, corporate governance, and lending.

Prior to receiving a Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law, Eddie received a B.S. in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M University. He began preparing title opinions while working as a clerk in law school. Following law school, Eddie worked as a petroleum landman, as an attorney with several Houston-based oil and gas law firms, and most recently for a Houston-based law firm that represents banks, mortgage companies, and private lenders. Eddie is licensed to practice law in Texas and is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
