Jackie MacAfee

Jackie is an experienced attorney who has spent her career in the oil and gas industry. Her primary focus is on title examination and due diligence. She has authored and reviewed hundreds of opinions, and is skilled in handling complex title issues covering everything from establishing clear contractual rights ownership to managing multifaceted depth and acreage severance challenges.

Jackie earned her dual undergraduate degrees in Energy Commerce and Finance from Texas Tech University in 2008 and then her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech School of Law in 2011. During law school, she worked as an Independent Landman in the courthouses of West Texas. After graduation, she began her in-house career as a Landman with EP Energy E&P Company. Her time as a Landman has given her insight to fully understand the needs and expectations of our clients and provide quality representation to both operators and landowners.

Licensed to practice law in Texas, Jackie lives in Kingwood with her husband and three children and is an active member of the PTA.
