Jennifer Martin

Jennifer Martin joined RFH in 2024 having dedicated thirteen years to practicing law in the oil and gas sector. Although the bulk of her experience lies in drafting oil and gas title opinions and related curative and operational materials, she brings additional experience in transactional and contracting matters, as well as an understanding of managing projects to build long-lasting client relationships. In 2021, she lent her expertise to South Texas College of Law and the University of Houston School of Law, teaching a specialized class focusing on the structure and drafting of oil and gas leases.

After graduating from the University of Houston with her bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Jennifer attended law school at St. Mary’s University and went on to obtain an LL.M. in Energy and Environmental Law from the University of Texas School of Law in 2011. She is licensed to practice in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and North Dakota.

Jennifer is no stranger to oil and gas, with her father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all working in the industry before her. As a fourth-generation member of the “family business,” she understands not just the day-to-day aspects, but also the long-term legacies her clients are working to establish and uphold.
